Grierson Awards Nomination for Operation Mincemeat

Walker George Films are delighted to announce that Operation Mincemeat has been nominated for a prestigious Grierson Award.

Operation Mincemeat, which tells the extraordinary story of the boldest and most successful secret operation of World War Two, is nominated for the "Best Historical Documentary".

Established in 1972, the Grierson Awards recognise and celebrate documentaries from Britain and abroad that have made a significant contribution to the genre and that demonstrate quality, integrity, creativity, originality and overall excellence.

Working Title Films and Young@Heart

The latest script in the fictionalised version of Young@Heart has just been delivered. Written by Adam Brooks (Bridget Jones - the Edge of Reason), the movie is being developed by the UK's leading film company, Working Title Films, who hope to be in production later this year. Stephen Walker and Sally George are co-producers.
